There wasn't much to think about. The World had breed us to: obey, and act. The whole process of thinking was completely useless. We each charged forward bracing for the first blow when a gust of wind picked up, blinding us with dust and leaves. It settled and Lao and I found ourselves completely immobile. It didn't have to do with the wind, but the two identical girls between us. They formed an 'X', arms and hands outstretched towards each of us. I could feel the sharp nail, of the girl in front of me, brush the skin of my throat and knew that one wrong move meant a slow death. For a second I looked over at Lao who was looking intently at the girl in front of him. He didn't show much of a backing down face. But he was still smarter than the average gorilla and knew when not to start a losing fight. I was however curious to see if he would take the first step back, rendering the victory to me. But it seemed like neither him or the girls were going to back down and Jared was fidgeting nervously in the back. 'So you're Jared,' someone said behind me. I pulled away and turned to Jared who stood facing a tall blond guy who looked him from head to toe. 'I wondered how you'd look like. Considering how much trouble Aramis went through to keep you alive.' he said. 'do you know some kind of dirty secret of hers or something?'
'My Prince!' I said standing between them. 'he is nothing more than the son of my moms husband. Just a civilian.'
